Synopsis:
Mephisto Barto Kucabara is a prince who was banished from the demon world because of his kindness. He also had to lose his status and power. He then decided to become a devil's lawyer (defense devil) in order to help the accused (criminal spirits) who were treated unfairly by the god of death. Once the contract is signed by the accused, he and Buchira (his assistant) must find and show the innocence item as proof that the accused is innocent. They will get dark matter that comes out of the accused's body if they win. This dark matter functions as a source of power for them (and for the god of death) in the demon world. However, instead of collecting it, Kucabara often spends it to help the accused. The risk he bears is also very heavy if he loses, namely disappearing into ashes. He has defeated two gods of death (Meyer and Ponzol), now he must face Sugal. The problem is that his client feels he committed the crime. How does Kucabara prove his client's innocence?
